Mr. Curtis Franklin was born on June 12, 1943 in Thomasville, Georgia to the late Mrs. Josie Thompson Franklin and the late Otis Franklin.
He attend Douglas High School. He was employed for many years with Jerger Elementary School, where he retired.
His legacy will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife, Joann Franklin; his loving children, Cynthia Franklin (Sherman O'neal), Curtis Franklin, Jr.; two sisters, Alma Franklin Boddie (Amos), Christine Franklin Daniels (Joe); brother in laws, Willie Carr and Elmer Thompson; sister in law, Ethelene Franklin, and devoted and loving companion, Linda Anderson; grandchildren, Demetrius Ross, Deandre Franklin, Kaliah Franklin, Jencia Franklin; great grandchildren, Courtney Wilkerson, De'yondria Franklin, Andria Franklin and a lot of loving and cherished memories by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Mrs. Josie and Mr. Otis Franklin, brother, Bobby Franklin, sisters, Dorothy Franklin Thompson, and Cynthia Franklin Carr.
