Coach Kerbo entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was an Educator with the Putnam County Board Of Education and retired after 30 plus years of dedicated service. Coach Kerbo was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a member of the Georgia High School Association and the Georgia Retired Teachers Association.
He leaves behind to cherish and honor his memory, his wife of 39 years of marriage Regina Mullins - Kerbo, four daughters, Kendra (Jasper) Evans, Kimberly (Jabari) Kerbo - Harris of Milledgeville, Georgia; Kiana Key of Atlanta, Georgia ; and Jillian Carr of Moultrie, Georgia; one son, Jerome Brown of Tallahassee, Florida; five sisters, Eva Green, Jaqueline (Jessie) Lovettt, Caroline Simmons, Darlene (Michael) Booker, and Tracey Grant all of Thomasville, Georgia; four brothers, John Kerbo, Raymond Kerbo, Lester Kerbo, and Tony Thompson all of Thomasville, Georgia; mother in law, Ophelia Mullins of Milledgeville, Georgia; eleven grandchildren and a loving host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 135 Jimmie Sanford Rd. N.W. Milledgeville, Georgia.
