Christine Harris

December 22, 1949 — October 14, 2020

Christine M. Harris (Sister Baby) was born in Thomasville, GA, to Margorie C. Mullins and the late Eugene Mullins.


She made her transition from her earthly tabernacle at Lakeland Regional Hospital, Lakeland, FL.


Christine was educated in the Thomasville Public School System. Christine retired from the Polk County Florida School System where she served as a custodian. After moving to Lakeland in early 2002, she joined Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the pasturage of Rev. Dr. J. L. Downing.


She was married to the late Joseph Moore of Thomasville and to this union three children were born. She was a loving mother and grandmother.


She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories her mother Margorie C. Mullins, Thomasville, GA; daughter, Victoria Moore Cotton (Kenneth), Lakeland, FL; two sons, Joseph Moore (Cherie), Ft. Myers, FL; Donelle Moore, Lakeland, FL; brother, Willie James Mullins Quanita); sisters, Carolyn Scott and Harriett Ingram, all of Thomasville, GA; brothers, Earl Johnson, (Dorothea), Harvest, AL; Kenneth Wayne Kelley (Margalene), Sylvester Payne (Maxine), both of Gainesville, FL; a devoted friend John Harris, Lakeland FL; ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives and friends.


Christine was preceded in death by her father Eugene Mullins, Sr., brothers Roscoe Mullins and Eugene Mullins, Jr., sisters, Judy M. Smith and Christie Lee.
