Ms. Charlie Mae Jackson was born on August 28, 1958, in Thomas County, Georgia, to the late Thelma Mae Jackson and the late Willie Frank Jackson. She attended Willow Head Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Silas Brinson and Pastor William Brinson.

Ms. Jackson departed this life on March 22, 2026.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her son, Roy Lee Jackson; her brother, Charlie Lee Jackson (Dorothy); her sister, Lula Mae Nerkirk (Johnny), all of Thomasville, Georgia; her special godchildren, Bishop Sean Watkins and Zakarius Watkins; her special godsister, Elaine Whitehead; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma Mae Jackson and Willie Frank Jackson; her brothers, Willie James Jackson and Freddie Jackson; her sisters, Mamie Willie Mae Jackson-Jones; and her niece, Lorraine Denise Cook Thigpen.
