Chance Kelley

August 31, 2000 — January 9, 2020

Chance was born on August 31, 2000 to Wanjiru Howell
and Christopher Kelley in Thomasville, GA. He moved to
Atlanta, GA with his mother and brother in 2016.


With his athletic abilities, Chance concentrated on track,
football and wrestling. He graduated from Norcross High
School May of 2018. Joining the military became his
ambition and in March 2018 Chance was sworn into the
United States Marine Corps. He possessed a passion for his
new career and demonstrated such pride at the opportunity
to serve his county. He completed basic training in October
of 2018 at Paris Island, SC and his excitement continued as
he was promoted to Lance Corporal. With his distinguished
stature, Chance wore his uniform with dignity and honor.


Chance Jammal Kelley, 19, of Beaufort, SC passed away
on January 9, 2020.


He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother,
