Calli was born in Los Angeles, California on December 27, 1971. She grew up in Los Angeles, California and attended public school there. She graduated from Crenshaw High School and later attended San Francisco State University. She accepted Christ early in life.
Calli loved to come to Georgia and Florida to visit her family. She spent holidays and summers enjoying her Southern relatives and eating good soul food. She loved eating her Grandmother Essie's homemade cakes, sweet cornbread and sugar grits.
Calli had a heart of gold. She loved children and always was helping someone in need. She often sacrificed her needs to make sure others were taken care of. Calli loved to talk about things she was passionate about. She loved her son, Lavell and was so proud of his progress in school.
Calli was employed as a CDL truck driver and bus driver. She often shared pictures of the beautiful places she traveled through while on the road.
Calli was very tolerant of all people. She did not judge but accepted you for who you were and where you were in life. She showed everyone she was close to how to love unconditionally. She had a laugh that was truly contagious and a smile that reflected a child-like innocence that she never outgrew.
Calli was born to parents, George Curry and Lois Curry both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by one child, King Bentley Lavell Williams, one aunt, Betty (William) Forde and a host of cousins and special friends.
