Bobby Charles Williams was born to the late Lloyd Williams and Sadie Reynolds on August 7, 1956, in Pavo, GA. At an early age, he gave his life to Christ and attended Bell Mission Holiness Church. He attended the Thomas County School System, where he graduated in the Class of 1974. During his tenure at Thomas County Central High, Bobby excelled at Football and Basketball.
After graduating from high school, he moved to New York City for a brief period. He then relocated to Atlanta, GA, where he attended the National School of Radio and TV Broadcasting. Upon Graduation, he pursued a career as a Licensed Radio Broadcaster and DJ at WTUF in Thomasville, GA. That is where he earned his famous handle, "Mr. Fly". Soon afterwards, he married his high school sweetheart. Aldrena Anderson Williams. Unto this union, two sons were born, Shannon Williams and Pachino Williams. Bobby proceeded to move his family to Atlanta, GA. There, he embarked on a new career and attended Metal Fabrication School and worked as a licensed sheet metal fabricator for 8 years. Eventually, Bobby and family returned to South Ga, where they settled in Meigs Ga and welcomed two more children, Broderick Williams and Cubia Williams, to the family. Bobby gained employment at Albany Regional Youth Detention Center (RYDC), where he served as a supervisor and earned the merit of Correctional Officer of the year in 1999. During this time, Bobby and Aldrena took on the selfless role of becoming Foster Parents and fostered over 30 children in their home.
Bobby was a soft-spoken and kind man. He would help anybody and was greatly loved by many people near and far. One big character trait about Bobby was that he loved his family and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was also known for his delicious lemonade and being a fierce competitor in Horseshoes.
Bobby leaves to cherish his legacy, loving and devoted wife, Aldrena Williams; three sons, Shannon (Heather) Williams, Pachino Williams, Broderick (Jocelyn) Williams, and one daughter, Cubia Williams; brothers, Solomon Williams, Randal Williams; sisters Doris (Dr. Larry) Spruill, Rosa (Barry) Hamm, Marilyn Aderly; sister-in-law, Linda Pack; bonus siblings, Carlton, Teresa, and Lea. He also leaves to cherish his memories grandchildren, Daishawn, Samaria, Jada, Emani, Shannon, Jaahlive, Kayla, Dallas, and Mckenzi; God Children, Kimberly, Samarrian, Samario, Akoshua, Catava, Brianni, Suprina, Vick, Rhandi, and Meme, along with a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sade and Lloyd Williams Sr.; brothers, Lloyd Williams, Jr., Benjamin Williams, and Jimmy Williams.
