Betina Hightower

Betina Hightower was born on June 11, 1973, in Quincy, FL, to  Ruby Dixon Anderson.

She attended Gadsden County Public Schools. She graduated from Havana Northside High School in the Class of 1992. She was employed at the Department of Revenue, General Tax Administration Data Management as an Operations Analyst 1 until her passing.

Betina was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and coworker. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Betina was preceded in death by her late husband, Lemond Bernard Hightower.

She is survived by her mother, Ruby Dixon- Anderson of Midway, FL; A long time friend and devoted partner, Edward Benjamin of St. Pete, FL; sisters, Pamela Braswell (Jimmy), Tampa, FL, Serena Anderson of Midway, Ollie Anderson (Wesley), Greenwood, FL, Justine Lewis (Ronnie), Hawaii, Lula Sweet, Alison Sweet, Annie Sweet, Willie Mae Sweet, Geraldine Sweet, Elaine Kenon, Shirley Sweet, Charlene Williams all Quincy, FL, Carrie Holton, Tallahassee, FL; brothers, Joel Dixon of Midway, FL, Juan Wilkerson (Virginia) of Texas, Ronald Dixon of Tallahassee, FL, Willie James Sweet of Quincy, FL, Polito Anderson of Havana, FL and host of nieces and nephews.
