Archie attended Camden High School in Camden, New Jersey, where he was raised until adulthood .
Archie departed this life on February 22, 2021, leaving behind a loving family.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Flossie Mickens; sisters, Susie (John) Jeter, Camden, New Jersey, Selina Carstarphen, Camden, New Jersey, Antoinette Carstarphen, Camden, New Jersey, Margie Chase, Atlanta, Georgia; brothers, John Mickens, Albany, Georgia, Rickey (Betty) Mickens, Albany, Georgia, Henry (Dean) Mickens, Camilla, Georgia, David (Lashaun) Mickens, Thomasville Georgia, Willie Cole, Miami Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elijah Mickens, sister, Janette Mickens, sister, Mattie Cole and brother, Elijah "Lil
Sonny" Mickens .
