Alonzo Virgil Jr.

Mr. Alonzo "Lil Baby" Virgil Jr. Was born December 22, 1954 of the late Alonzo Virgil, Sr. and Marion Thompson. As a lifetime resident of Thomasville, he attended Thomas County Public school until becoming employed by the City of Thomasville working in the utilities department where he would later retire.

Alonzo was a people's person and was willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Alonzo enjoyed spending time with family and friends. When not spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed watching boxing and listening to music.

Alonzo is survived by his wife, Dora J. Riles-Virgil; daughter, Kimberly (Kenneth) Harris; step-son, Darryl Douglas II; granddaughter, Kenniece Harris; sisters, Theresa Williams, Jackie Lovett, Carolyn Kerbo Simmons, Darlene Booker, Tracy Grant; brothers, Richard Thompson and Clifford Kerbo; aunt, Evelyn O'Neal along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Alonzo is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roger Thompson, Jerome Virgil, and cousin (best friend), Gwendolyn Young Petitfrere.
