Allene Johnson Rogers

Allene Johnson Rogers was born on March 25, 1945 in Thomas County to the late Mr. Jefferson and Mary Pearl McCaskill Johnson.

She departed this life on July 20, 2022.

Ms. Allene was a loving and caring person who loved everyone she came in contact with. She never met a stranger she wouldn't help that was in need. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, John E. Rogers; one daughter, Dilene Rogers Carr (Melvin); one grandson, Gregory Jordan, all of Thomasville, GA; one granddaughter, Shakeria Gathers, Jacksonville, FL; one goddaughter, Katina Thurman Beasly, Palmetto, FL; her siblings, Bernice Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, Joanne Johnson all of Thomasville, GA, Mammie Johnson, Patterson, NJ; a special friend, Wesley Coachman; a loving neighbor, Debra Dixson; two sister in laws, Linda Mae Cason, Pauline Johnson; best friend, Alberta Hopkins, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jasper Quintez Copeland; three sisters, Dora Mae Johnson, Betty Jean Johnson, Ether Lee Johnson; four brothers, Henry "Sonny" Johnson, Willie J. Johnson, Willie C. Johnson, Walter "Bud" Johnson and a favorite cousin, Alberta Hayes.
