Adrian C. Hopkins

Adrian C. Hopkins, born on April 2, 1982, in Thomasville, Georgia, entered this life as a beacon of light to Rev. Aaron and Diane  Hopkins. On March 5, 2024, he transitioned to Glory, leaving behind a legacy of inspiration and kindness.

Adrian accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age, as a member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, where he served in various capacities throughout his life. Adrian served as a faithful member in the Youth and Inspirational choirs, as well as the youth usher board.

A proud graduate of Thomasville High School, class of 2000, Adrian continued his educational journey at Tallahassee Community College, where he pursued his passion for knowledge and personal growth.

Beyond academia, Adrian distinguished himself as an accomplished author and poet. In his professional life, Adrian was a dedicated employee, at Wal-Mart, store #4520. His journey also included positions at the Tallahassee Development Center, Sunrise Community, and Florida State University. Adrian found joy in various hobbies, including fishing, boating, and modeling. These pursuits reflected his adventurous spirit and also allowed him moments of tranquility and self-expression.

May Adrian rest in eternal peace, his spirit enduring through the words he shared and the lives he enriched.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Reverend Aaron Nelson Hopkins and Diane Holman Hopkins; son, Jayden Hopkins; brothers: Kelvin T. Hopkins and David Hopkins, sisters, Elizabeth Hopkins, Brittany Hopkins, Gabrielle Hopkins; grandfather, Deacon Ananias Hopkins, Jr.; aunts, Cynthia Stringer, Brenda Holman, Peggy Mays,  Audrey Davis, Jennifer Hightower; uncles, Reverend Ananias Hopkins, III (Jacquelyn), Anthony Hopkins; nieces, Eleeysha, Emmoni, Iveyana, Ja'Rhia, Serenity; nephews, Ladarian (Jr.), Isaiah, Izareon, Ivran, Everett and a host of loving cousins and friends

He was preceded in death by his brother, Steddrick Hopkins; grandmothers, Mother Rosetta Woodruff Hopkins; Mother Mildred Edmond; grandfathers, Raymond Edmond; Walter Holman, Sr.; uncles, Willie Mays, Albert Williams, Deacon Robert Stringer, Rev. James Davis, Sr. and aunt, Barbara Williams.
